Kaitlin is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern

under the supervision of Toni Scalise M.Ed., LPC-S, RPTS, NCC.

Kaitlin believes that every human develops uniquely and should be treated as a holistic being. Kaitlin counsels from a developmental view in which she is able to incorporate the techniques that are the best fit for every client and meet them at their stage of life.

Kaitlin received her undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University where she majored in both Psychology and Child Development. Through her studies in psychology she developed an interest in understanding how people become their unique selves. Through Texas Christian University’s Institute of Child Development, Kaitlin discovered her passion for working with families and children who have experienced trauma. Her experiences during her undergraduate degree grew into a love for helping people through the field of counseling.

She graduated in January of 2019 from Southern Methodist University with a Master of Science in Counseling. During her clinical training, she interned at the SMU Center for Family Counseling where she counseled a wide variety of clients with concerns including attachment, grief, anxiety, childhood aggression, depression, trauma, and self-esteem. While at SMU, she engaged in community outreach to local parents struggling with a variety of parenting topics. Kaitlin has also worked in community agencies providing child development education and support regarding childhood attachment concerns.

Through her education and community involvement, Kaitlin has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and family units. She has additional training in substance-related and addictive disorders, as well as parent education.

Kaitlin joined Corbella in February of 2019. She offers flexible weeknight and weekend appointments.
