​​Kelly is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Intern and a Licensed Professional Bilingual School Counselor. 

She completed her undergraduate degree in Spanish at the University of Oklahoma, including a teaching fellowship in Madrid, Spain.  She taught Spanish for 16 years in a variety of academic and scholastic settings at the high school level (9-12). 

She graduated in 2012 from the University of North Texas with a Masters of Education in Counseling. During her clinical training, she worked at the University of North Texas Counseling Center with teens and adults, specifically working with their Spanish speaking clients. Kelly is currently in her sixth year as a high school guidance counselor. 

Kelly is passionate about therapy and creating an open, authentic environment with her client.  She is passionate about empowering clients to be the best CEO of their lives and partners with clients to help them build resilience, personal goals and new perspectives.  Kelly utilizes Adlerian therapy as her guiding theory and has used REBT and Solution Focused Counseling effectively in the school setting. Additionally, she is slated to be certified as a Pet Bereavement Counselor.  

Kelly is presently completing her LPC hours and joined Corbella in 2018. She offers Saturday appointments and counseling clients who speak Spanish.
