Chris is an amazing musician with great ability to play a wide range of instruments.  However, what really sets him apart is his deep knowledge of the history and spirit of the instruments as well as his ability to feel the energy of a client / participant.  This allows him to chose and channel the appropriate instrument for a particular situation or person.  In my experience, this additional level of intangible talent is what sets him apart from others doing this work and allows for an unmatched experience. –Jamie

Chris is a musician of over 22 years, trained in a variety of instruments from around the world. His lifelong exploration of sound as creative expression naturally led him into the field of music therapy and sound healing. Scientific research increasingly supports the therapeutic use of sound and music: studies show that music can reduce cortisol (a stress hormone), increase oxytocin (associated with trust and bonding), and support nervous system regulation—contributing to emotional well-being and a sense of safety.

Beyond music, Chris works as a facilitator of Authentic Relating, Embodiment and Life Coach, and Ceremonial Guide, helping individuals reconnect with themselves and others through presence, voice, body awareness, and meaningful ritual. Authentic Relating practices, rooted in relational psychology and mindfulness, have been shown to improve interpersonal awareness, empathy, and emotional resilience.

As a practitioner trained in meditation and mindfulness, including facilitating at the Dallas Meditation Center in the tradition of The Dharma, Chris supports others in developing tools for inner peace. Clinical research has shown that consistent mindfulness practice can alleviate symptoms of depression, trauma, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation, while enhancing attention and compassion.

Chris’s work integrates deep listening, vocal activation, and self-expression, modalities that support trauma healing by helping individuals reinhabit their bodies, reclaim their voices, and feel seen. These practices align with somatic psychology and trauma-informed care approaches, which emphasize embodied safety and the therapeutic power of creative expression. Movement and dance, often part of his ceremonial offerings, are also backed by research as powerful tools for emotional release, regulation, and embodiment.

Through his ceremonies, workshops, and coaching, Chris creates safe, intentional spaces for people from all walks of life to access their inner resources and heal. He believes deeply in the human capacity for transformation—and that music, when offered with presence and care, can be a profound path toward it.
